Translating
We work with an international network of qualified translators, with whom we maintain close contact. These professionals have the requisite linguistic expertise, specialise in a wide variety of fields and will produce expert and accurate translations of your texts, always working in their own native language. This means that we can provide professional translations into almost any language.
Provided that your files are in a compatible format, we will use translation memory systems to ensure consistency in terminology and phrasing.
As they say, two pairs of eyes see better than one. For this reason, all of our translations undergo a second round of editing to ensure the highest possible quality.
Certified translations
Public authorities and institutes of higher education, in Switzerland and elsewhere, often require certified translation of documents such as passports, birth or marriage certificates, official confirmation of single (unmarried) status and diplomas. In such cases, we can offer the following options:
- Agency certification
- Translator certification – certification by a certified translator
- Notarised certification – certification by a notary from the Canton of Bern
We recommend that you enquire as to what kind of certification is necessary at the office for which the translation is being obtained.
